Villa Luce is located in a quiet residential area of Santa Maria degli Angeli (a fraction of Assisi), close to all main tourist services and a short walk from the suggestive Porziuncola chapel located inside the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, built on the site of the first Franciscan community, where Francis developed his vocation and gave shelter to Saint Clare. It is in a strategic position to visit Assisi and all sites of historical, artistic and naturalistic interest in Umbria.
Easily accessible by car from the nearby highway, the house is adjacent to a large free car park.
Motorcyclists upon request can use our private garage to store their vehicles. From our villa you can enjoy a bicycle ride reaching the numerous regional cycling routes. Within walking distance, you can find pastry shops, bars, restaurants, pizzerias, hamburger restaurants, ice-cream shops, shops and services of all kinds (pharmacy, post office, bank, market, etc.). The railway station is about one mile away from our residence, a 15 minute walk, a 5 minute drive with your car, a taxi or the city bus. It takes only 10 minutes (about 11 kms) to the airport of Umbria “Saint Francis of Assisi” near the village of Sant’Egidio.
